The Newly crowned Miss USA 2016 is an Army logistics Commander


The 2016 newly crowned Miss USA is 26 year old Miss District of Columbia, Deshauna Barber, who works as an IT analyst for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington D.C. as well as a Logistics Commander for the 988th Quartermaster Detachment Unit at Fort Meade, Maryland. The new Miss USA whose mother, father and 2 siblings have also served in the army said that joining the military was the best decision she had ever made. She said even though she hasn’t been deployed overseas yet, she’d jump at the opportunity to fight for her country if asked to fight in Iraq.
