22 Jan Lockdown Chronicles
The beginning of this year was kind of weird for me… I couldn’t really place it but something felt off.. I wasn’t exactly Sad but I wasn’t totally happy.
At some point, I had to come to the conclusion that the reason for my weird mood was due to the current lockdown.. Please don’t get me wrong.. I’m not writing this because I want pity; I just think a lot of persons out there are in my shoes.. not knowing why they feel off or not feeling the new year as much as they should have and on and on.
There are couple of things that have kept me going on days when I’m less inspired and I thought I’d share them with you guys.
⁃ Wake up and Pray
Communicate with God anyway you know how to. It gives a sense of relief trust me!
You don’t necessarily have to work out for 1 hour if you’re not used to it.. A couple of stretches here and there, strolling, push ups, sit ups and you’re good to go. It gives you an energetic feeling and prepares you for the day.
⁃ Eat Breakfast
Breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day and shouldn’t be neglected.. I’m not really a breakfast person 🙈 just as so many others.. But I’ve decided to make a conscious effort to not skip breakfast.. You should too.
I love writing my thoughts down regardless of how disorganized they turn out.. it helps you plan your day/week.
I stopped listening to music for a while but for some reason I found my way back to it… Music is life and gives peace and calmness and also exhilarate happiness…
